A successful career that started in Marketing and Marketing Communications, but which quickly broadened into general management of SME’s in London
A move from London to the South-West brought an opportunity to become CEO of a regional group of companies and lead it’s growth and sale to a PLC – whilst carefully adding new and higher quality skills to a proven and much loved regional offering
Whilst at the same time always balancing the interests of the founder, the existing Management Team, the Private Equity investors and the new eventual owners
This London – Regional, SME – PLC experience gave me the confidence to launch my own and revolutionary “virtual network” communications agency. With a growing network of 45 people I wrongly, with hindsight, was tempted back into the “bright lights” of a PLC. It won’t happen again
Since then I have found my real niche – working very closely with a wide variety of young fresh SME’s and their Management Teams to help their beliefs to really fly. My long and varied experience resonates with not only their ambitions but the inevitable “growing pains’.
